It seems that XDA member bigrushdog has worked some magic into the latest Adobe Flash Player 3.1 update that enables Motorola XOOM users to watch content from Hulu.
As he states in the thread:
NOTE: IT’S NOT CONFIRMED, BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO BE RUNNING HC 3.1 FOR THIS VERSION. It is optimized for tegra hardware acceleration, which was enabled in HC 3.1.
So this may only work on devices that are running Flash Player 3.1. Â You can try this same patch on other devices, but it doesn’t sound like it’s going to work. Â If you do decide to try it, be sure to let us know if it worked and what device you tried.
So what do you need to do:
- You’ll need to uninstall your current version of Adobe Flash Player.
- Download the patched version from the XDA thread.
- Sideload the patched version onto your XOOM.
- Change your browser “UA String” to “desktop” to watch Hulu.
That should be it.
