28 new cities and 11 markets expanded with Verizon 4G LTE by May 17th

“Can you hear me now?” Maybe, maybe not. We bet you have 4G LTE service though. Today’s new city announcement brings the red giant to a total of 258 markets nationwide that can rock out on some fast ass 4G LTE services. The new market list spans a list of cities across the nation. Making sure to bring their service up to date across the nation instead of just one side of the map. Check out the list of new cities and see if you are getting a loving bump.

Houma/Thibodaux and Lake Charles, La.; Hyannis/Mid-Cape, Mass.; Benton Harbor/St. Joseph, Mich.; Biloxi/Gulfport/Pascagoula and Oxford, Miss.; Atlantic City/Toms River, N.J.; Dickinson and Williston, N.D.; Ashtabula, Bucyrus and Defiance, Ohio; Eugene/Springfield, Ore.; Lancaster, New Castle, Northern Cambria County, Oil City/Franklin, Somerset and York, Pa.; Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Mitchell, S.D.; Paris, Texas; Burlington/Northern, Vt.; Fredericksburg, Harrisonburg, Martinsville and Staunton/Waynesboro, Va.; and Sheridan, Wyo.

Let’s not forget the areas that are getting expanded as well.

Denver, Colo.; Dover, Del.; Fort Myers and Lakeland, Fla.; Hagerstown, Md.; Canton, Lima, Mansfield, Toledo and Youngstown/Warren, Ohio; and Erie, Pa.

While the official date for the execution… I mean for Verizon to through the switch is set for May 17th. Some people in varied areas are already starting to see the little LTE icon popping up though. While It is most likely testing and might not hold, it will be a permanent addition to your device very shortly. Anyone in any of these location jumping for joy?
