The LG G Flex Heals itself in New Demonstration Video

The LG G Flex seem to just be LG’s answer to Samsung’s Galaxy Round, but apparently it wasn’t just for that. There is more than meets the eye with the Flex, and I am not talking about a ridiculous feature like Roll Effect. Let’s say the LG G Flex has a similar ability to Wolverine.

In the video below, you will watch a durability test for the Flex, first being a scratch resistance test, and pressure test. In the scratch test they take a wire brush and glide it back and forth on the back of a conventional plastic backed phone, and on the Flex’s back. There is about a pound of pressure they put on the brush, and it is very noticeable that the wire brush is causing some cosmetic damage on both phones. When they stop the wire brush, we then see the magic happen on the back of the Flex. The scratches seem to just heal themselves, and the back of the phone is returned to its shiny self. They then do a pressure test where they place different weights on the back of the phone, causing it to flatten out. They get all the way up to 70 lbs, and each time they lift the weight off the back, the Flex bounces right back to where it should be, in perfect working order.

This video demo just proves that the phone lives up to the name “Flex”, but I do not think anyone really knew it had the magical power of healing itself. Your move Samsung. Check out the video and let us know what you think.
