Have you been thinking about getting the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge in 24 karat gold, rose gold or platinum? Well, Goldgenie has you covered. The customization company is at it again with Samsung‘s latest flagships, covering either device completely in your choice of gold, rose gold or platinum, all for around $2,500 – still cheaper than the $10,000 gold Apple Watch. Of course, this isn’t solid gold or platinum – Goldgenie specializes in plating devices, giving it that shiny look without all of the cost. If that is something you want to invest in, you’ll be wanting to get in on the pre-orders that start on March 20th, and expected to ship out sometime after the devices are released worldwide on April 10th.
Naturally, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Goldgenie give a flagship device the Midas touch – we last saw the HTC One M8 dressed in a shiny frock when it was released last year. We’d genuinely be interested to know how these devices sell as there clearly is a market for it, but of course, I’m yet to see one in person.
