OnePlus has finally announced its most anticipated smartphone, the OnePlus 3, as promised earlier. This smartphone was leaked multiple times and every smartphone enthusiast was excited for it. The OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a full metal body. The OnePlus 3 is priced in India at Rs. 27,999 and will be available from Amazon starting tomorrow.
Under the hood, there is a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. There’s no microSD card slot though. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Connectivity features include dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS.
Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus 2 is equipped with a 16-megapixel primary camera (Sony IMX298 sensor with 1.12 micron pixel size) with phase-detection autofocus, LED flash, ƒ/2.0 aperture, OIS, and 4K video recording. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and an aperture of ƒ/2.0. The front-facing camera can record 1080p videos and can digitally stabilize videos.
The OnePlus 3 comes with 3,000 mAh non-removable battery and the new Dash Charge technology that helps you charge the phone’s battery up to 60% in just 30 minutes with the 5V/4A charger. The USB Type-C port is placed on the bottom of the OnePlus 3. OnePlus claims that the new technology can rapidly charge the device without overheating it.
The 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storage is priced at CNY 2,744 ($416.41). This Smartphone will be available through open sale from tomorrow. OnePlus has also published the details of how to buy the OnePlus 3 on its official forum, making it easier for the buyers.
