Custom Recovery Image Makes Its Way onto Droid X, Are ROMs Next?

One more step has been breached edging us closer to custom ROMs on the Motorola Droid X. Birdman, who was the first to root the Droid X, has been hard at work trying to crack the device to allow for a custom ROM to be thrown on this bad boy. While enduring an intense process, Birdman has successfully booted a custom recovery image on the DX and he must work out a lot of things in order to boot into Android from the recovery image. Thanks to those that have been working diligently on the Motorola Milestone, Birdman was able to use a recently discovered hack which led to this feat. Follow Birdman‘s Twitter account to stay up to date with the latest adventure in the Droid X hack process.
