Seceret SMS Replicator Pulled from the Android Market

Yesterday, DLP Mobile released Secret SMS Replicator. This crafty application left no evidence of being installed and allowed you to secretly forward text messages to any phone of your choice. With an app like this, one could spy on their significant other without their knowledge. Not even 24 hours later the app was pulled from the Android Market.

Google spokesperson claimed that it violated Android Market content policy.  Zak Tanjeloff told the New York Times that he knew the app was controversial, but at the same time a very useful monitoring tool. The app was available for Blackberry, but according to Zak Tanjeloff, DLP Mobile did not create an app for IOS because they knew that it would not have made it into Apple’s App Store.

This now raises the question, if this app made it into the market due to the leniency of the Android Market submission policy, what other questionable apps are readily available?
