The Facebook mobile event has kicked off and while Mark Zuckerberg squashed all rumors about a Facebook phone, he did announces new features in the Facebook for Android Application as it brings Places and Groups to the app among bug fixes and overall optimization.
Recent changes:
- Groups: Â share posts with small groups of friends
- Places: Â share where you are with friends, see where friends are, discover places nearby
- Improved Notifications: Â view comments and updates within the app
- Various bug fixes
