New Google Earth 3D imagery now covers Denver and Seattle

Looking to kill some more time while pretending to work? Maybe you have a trip planned some time soon. Maybe you are like me and just like to look around at things. Well earlier this morning Google announced via their Lat Long blog that two new cities have been added to 3D Google Earth imagery. Now you can take a fly by of  Seattle Washington and visit Safeco field, or hit up downtown and take look around. If Seattle isn’t a big interest, then head over to Denver Colorado. Pretty cool stuff really.

No need to update your Google Earth app to take 3D fly over of the cities mentioned, but you do need to have Google Earth installed. If you haven’t ever played around with it we suggest you give it a whirl. There is a whole big world out there to explore and Google makes seeing it possible in the palm of your hand. It is worth mentioning that the 3D imagery isn’t supported on all devices, including most tablets. Not sure why that is, but hit or miss, it is still worth giving it a shot.
