It looks like Jersey Shore may soon be taking over your Galaxy Tab as MTV and Samsung have teamed up to bring an MTV application exclusively to your 7-inch Android tablet that will allow you to watch Jersey Shore anywhere and everywhere you go. Yay! (sarcasm)
Content will make the Samsung Galaxy Tab successful and with this new MTV exclusive partnership, Samsung is definitely heading mainstream with the Galaxy Tab, which is not a bad thing. So, what all is coming on this MTV application?
- One episode each of 5 shows: The Hills, Jersey Shore, The Dudesons, Pimp My Ride and Cribs
- Regularly updated news and competitions, such as the chance to win tickets to multiple MTV events and gigs across Europe.
Samsung has been promoting their Galaxy S devices everywhere especially with the younger crowd by sponsoring the X Games with AT&T’s Samsung Captivate and the MTV VMAs with the Samsung Fascinate, it was only a matter of time before Samsung found a way to push their first Android tablet and we can’t knock Samsung for teaming up with MTV no matter how much we hate Jersey Shore or the wealthy teenagers that have never paid any real bills. So far, Samsung’s marketing team is killin’ the game.
