It looks like KingKlick may the first person to release an updated Kernel for the T-Mobile myTouch 4G allowing the device to be overclocked to 1.5 GHz. Â We haven’t tried the new Kernel yet, but KingKlick normally does some good work.
We’ve looked at a couple of guides that had already been written, but they seemed to be missing details or made things over complicated. As a result we have created a simple step by step guide with links to everything you need in the AndroidStory forums.
We were all starting to feel left out of the modding scene as the T-Mobile G2 has been seeing a lot of progress with CM6.1 and the myTouch 4G just seemed to be getting left behind.
Let’s hope this is a good sign that we can expect some updated ROMs any day now.
