With the launching of this device in the U.S. and Europe, it looks like Australia may be getting in on the Defy action as AusDroid is reporting that Telstra will be launching this nearly indestructible device November 30th for F-R-E-E on a 2-year service agreement at $49 a month.
Features of the Motorola Defy include:
- Android 2.1
- Motoblur skin
- 3.7″ WVGA touchscreen display
- DLNA support
- 5MP camera
- OMAP 3610 processor clocked at 800MHz
- Adobe Flash lite
If you’re looking to purchase his device outright, then you must be willing to pony up a hefty $600 if you plan on leaving the store with the device legally. Telstra will have the exclusive rights over the Motorola Defy until May 30th, but we’re sure another device will catch your eye by then. Any of you planning on getting this rugged device?
