No one out there that has an Android phone for any length of time is unfamiliar with Launcher Pro by Federico Carnales. Between him and Andersweb with ADW Launcher, we have some amazing home replacement apps that work wonderfully. Today Federico updated his application to include the following:
- Virtual homescreen looping: Scrolling past the last homescreen will bounce you back to the first one, and vice-versa. (Preferences > Homescreen Settings)
- New “Recent Apps” dock popup: Allows you to quickly switch between your recently used apps.
- “Clear cache” option for Twitter and Facebook widget data.
- Latest version: 0.8.2 (for Android version 2.1 and higher)
All these addition are wonderful. The virtual home screen lopping is by far my favorite addition. I get so tired of swiping 7 times to get back to the other side of my home screen.
