Alright Sidekick fans, T-Mobile has finally let the cat out of the bag. They’ve now confirmed the release as well as the specs of this upcoming social hub, although we kinda knew it was coming. However, this is not just a remake of the Sidekick you know and love.
The new Sidekick 4G, which will be manufactured by Samsung, will be the first touch screen Sidekick ever, sporting a 3.5″ display on a “pop-tilt” hinge that reveals the keyboard you’re all so in love with. The speed will be delivered via a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor, which when combined with the 4G radio will make cruising the net a breeze. Also as you may or may not know the big key feature that makes this Sidekick so cool is the fact it will be running the Android OS, 2.2 Froyo to be exact. All of these things combined ensure your new experience is unforgettable.
