The current reigning champ among launchers as far as our poll goes, LauncherPro, now has a new update. While this is not the rewrite everyone has been waiting for, the new update provides fixes as well as a few new features.
LauncherPro Plus users benefit from a slew of fixes and a new Gmail widget. The new widget supports multiple accounts, so you can have a widget for each one. Upon receiving an email or simply checking an existing one, an internal view will open which will list said emails, however sending and replying will still be done through the official app. Facebook login has also been modified and will now be done via the official Facebook app if available. Fixes for the Twitter client have also been addressed for those users experiencing status update issues.
All users will be able to take advantage of the new Gingerbread fixes. Bugs in the 3D app drawer have been fixed and enhancements pertaining to the graphics have been improved for added “smoothness.” Two new homescreen transitions have been added as well, “Flip” and “Rotate 2.” The old “Flip” will now be referred to as “Flip 2.”
For the avid LauncherPro fan, updating is a must as you can only stand to gain from the added improvements and various fixes. If you have yet to try this nifty app give it a whirl, and let us know what you think. A download link can be found below.
