There’s no doubt the HTC ChaCha is coming to AT&T at this point. With FCC inspection first revealing AT&T 3G bands on a new version of the device, and a branded phone being spotted, we have everything but a press release.
Commonly new devices are haunted with an endless sea of rumors that continuously fly around as an official announcement inches closer. The most current of these aforementioned rumors suggests a name change for the ChaCha’s debut on the AT&T network and perhaps one of the more clever ones we’ve seen. According to the rumor the HTC ChaCha will be coming to the nation’s number two as the HTC Status, which given its branding as an official/unofficial Facebook phone, makes sense. No matter what it ends up being called we still haven’t heard anything from AT&T regarding this device leaving us wondering yet again what they’re planning.
