I understand how important it is to have the latest update for your device. Unfortunately, it is the latest update to 2.3 that is creating this to happen. HTC has pulled back this update to keep future customers from receiving the update. We are working on getting this update fixed, when the update is relaunched you will receive a notification on your device. It’s good to see that they recalled the update to keep from causing further irritation to its users. I wonder why they can’t seem to get it right though. I can only imagine it has something to do with all the bloatware and other garbage that is required by Verizon. That is just my opinion. As you can see in the email, there is no estimated time for the update to be relaunched or available for the Thunderbolt.
Hopefully you guys will see this update before the end of the year. If not, well, you can always root your device and be free from the update debacles that plague all devices.
