But, and there is almost always a BUT when it comes to updates from the manufacturers. There is a fairly good chance that the update may break and block the root method that was provided a while back. If you are not rooted and don’t really care, then update away. If you are like the rest of us, we would say hold off on this one for a while and check in with your favorite Thrive forum for a rooted version of the update. You know the devs will jump in and fix the OEM’s silly mistakes. They always do.
