Volume Bug fix for the Galaxy Nexus, update on the way “as soon as Possible”

New devices tend to launch with some sort of bug present. Nothing is ever perfect. Most manufacturers will jump right in and solve them immediately if they are critical enough. I would say a volume bug on the Galaxy Nexus device that trips out during calls often is pretty critical. The bug was identified by users and determined to be caused by 2G/3G interference along with other interference from other RF signals. A rather strange bug to have and one that I would have imagined would have been found during testing.

The good news is that Google doesn’t like to mess around when it comes to a branded device having a problem that could ultimately effect sales in a negative way. They state they have identified the issue and have already developed a fix for it. unfortunately they are leaving the time frame a little open by saying they will update devices ‘as soon as possible.’ At least they have a fix for it right? If you happen to have this issue on your Galaxy Nexus, be sure to stay tuned for the release of the update.

Here is a short video of the issue recreated if you haven’t seen it already.
