Just the other day we found out that HTC was going to start ‘soak testing’
Android 4.0 on two devices in Europe. As exciting as that was, it does us little good on this continent. While the latest news doesn’t alert us to a local soak of the icy goodness, it does give some confirmation of which devices HTC will be making updates to in the future. It looks like the primary focus is all about
Verizon. Good news for those of you stuck on Big Red.
They plan to, eventually, release updates to the Rhyme, Thunderbolt, Droid Incredible 2 and the previously announced Rezound. For those of you in the far north, the Raider on Bell and Rogers also made the cut.
HTC didn’t offer up any time lines on when these devices might see an official update, but at least you can rest assured that one is in the works.
