Zynga looking to make their games more social with “Zynga With Friends” Network

If you have played Farmville on Facebook, or Words with Friends on Android, then you have been playing Zygna games. They are very popular and usually extremely addictive. They produce a great experience that already some what is social and involves making friends or at least playing against new people. Now Zynga wants to take that social aspect og gaming to the next level with their “Zynga With Friends” Network. Looking to bring activity feeds, a new chat interface, multiplayer, leader boards and a variety of other social aspects to their games and across multiple platforms.

“It’s not about the number of friends you have, it’s how many friends you have actively playing the game you’re playing,” said Manuel Bronstein, who heads Zynga’s consumer network products.

From what we gather, this means more cross platform gaming and interactions. Pitting you in the same arena as Facebook players, iOS players and Android players. Letting you play the same games in all locations against all the same people regardless of the device they play on while integrating more friends from all your Zygna games.

If you are a gamer that enjoys great casual games at your leisure, this new Zynga with Friends looks like it could shape up to be a great addition to your life. WHo knows, you might mister right playing some Words with Friends in the end.
