In the unspoken competition in the Android world, manufacturers have been continually outdoing one another trying to attain the elusive edge-to-edge screen with zero bezel. Pantech has shown off their attempt at this on their new phone, and it’s pretty bloody close; the bezel on the Pantech Vega Iron is 2.4mm which is… well, tiny.
Other notable features include:

- 2150mAh battery
- Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
Pantech also alludes to new features in its user experience such as a smart camera, voice recognition and something called Smarter UX. Apart from the teeny battery though, what’s been revealed of the Vega Iron has the potential to do well, and if nothing else, the brushed metal finish of the phone is definitely alluring.
Wherever and whenever the Pantech Vega Iron is eventually released, it’ll definitely be a looker; we can only hope that the rest of the phone doesn’t let it down. Now excuse me while I go find some cheetah wallpapers.
