Debuting at CES 2011, the Acer Iconia A500 tablet has since been hiding in the shadows, perhaps eclipsed by other offerings coming our way. Although this may not be one of the more popular new comers it’s not lacking in the hardware department. This 10.1″ multi-touch slate features a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, 16GB internal storage which is expandable to 32Gb via microSD, dual 5Mp and 2Mp cameras, dual speakers, and ports galore 1 micro USB, 1USB and 1 micro HDMI.
Upon debut this tablet was said to be going to Verizon, however nothing has been mentioned since. If you’ve been looking at getting your hands on a formidable Honeycomb tablet the Acer Iconia A500 is now available at OfficeMax stores both physical and online for $449.99.
