Amazon free apps up for the taking, includes Plex, Splashtop Remote Desktop, Root Explorer and more

Today is the day that Amazon has pushed out theÂ largest App of the Day bundle they have ever let loose on the world. So they say at least. What we do know though is they have 40 mixed apps and games totaling $220 available for the taking from today through the 26th of Dec. The list of titles mixes in some from the past that many of us might already have, along with a few first timers. Among the mix you have the media app Plex, generally $4.99, up for nothing at all.

A few others of interest that worth picking up for the magical price of free are Fleksy Keyboard, Worms 3, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, TuneIn Radio Pro, Quell Reflect, Root Explorer and Splashtop Remote Desktop. There are certainly plenty others that might interest you though, those are just the ones that stand out to me, especially since many of them list the Fire TV Stick in my delivery options.

Along with the 40 apps for free, Amazon is also offering up 30% off on Amazon coin purchases. Be it for yourself or as a gift. Amazon coins let you buy in-game content and to buy apps on the App Store as well.

The Holiday sale will go beyond free apps Â and expand into Amazon Instant VideoÂ as well with up to 50% off Holiday and Kids movies / TV Shows through December 25th.
