At least Google is good to keep their phones updated. If I was an average consumer I would gladly pay a higher price for constant updates. As chance would have it though, Google has started to push an update out to the newly released Google Nexus S, moving its OS version to 2.3.2. The latest update is just a bug fix OTA that is set to resolve the SMS issue of sending texts to the wrong people. I’d say it’s a rather important thing to fix, sending a revealing message to your wife that ends up in your boss’s phone by accident could pose a problem. In fact, I can think of a lot of situations where this particular issue could pose a problem.
If you are one of the few owners of a Nexus S, be on the lookout for your OTA which should be hitting soon.
