This may not be “news” but I think it’s a pretty cool way to advertise an Android app. The Weather Channel is displaying a QR code that allows Android users to scan the screens of their televisions and download the Weather Channel app to their phones. Say hello to mainstream advertisement, Android. And it’s fun too. 😉
