Angry Birds Space clears 10 million Downloads

Just when we thought that the Angry Birds franchise was dead in the water, Rovio brings us Angry Birds Space. The numbers Rovio is already boasting is enough to make your head turn. With in the first three days of Space launching, it has massed over 10 million downloads across all platforms. They didn’t provide any details on the numbers per platform, but the number is staggering. Android currently has three versions of the game available. You can grab the free version which includes ads, a premium version for $0.99 that is ad free and an HD version that is ad free for $2.99. Giving everyone a chance to get fling some birds through space that fits their needs.

I would like to say I am surprised by the numbers, but I am not. Rovio sank some serious cash into promoting the new adventures. Continuing forward we should see more levels unlocked via updates along with in-game purchases for more levels and other elements. If the popularity stays as high as it is right now, Rovio is going to make a killing.

Don’t forget, if you are having trouble finding the Golden Eggs we put together the list with some screnshots for you.
