Yes you read that title correctly. The absolute most important feature in my book on any device is storage. 32GB is nice, 48GB is awesome, 250GB IS ROCKIN’! I mean seriously, what else could you need? Well, Archos delivers more then just a huge amount of storage in their latest Internet tablet:
- Device runs Android 2.2 Froyo
- ARM Cortex A8 at 1 GHz with DSP
- Graphic accelerator: 3D OpenGL ES 2.0
- Built in web cam
- 36 hours of music playback
- 7 hours of Video playback
- 10 hours of web surfing
- HDMI out put via mini HDMI to HDMI (cable sold separately)
- Max resolution 1280 x 720 pixels on a 7 inch capacitive touch screen
- 8 GB flash memory + Micro SD Slot (SDHC compatible)
- Hard Drive: 250 GB Hard Drive
That is only a few of the features that are available in this lightweight and slim little tablet.  According to the Archos website, the 8GB version is set to go for $279.99, with the 250GB version set at a mere $349.99. Those prices look pretty good to me for something this amazing. Currently you can’t actually order one of these from the site’s store. You can, however, get your name and e-mail address put in to receive an update when it does become available to order.
Anyone else ready to pass up a Galaxy Tab for one of these bad boys?
