Foursquare released a pretty nice update for its Android application yesterday afternoon. Most notably, a new and improved Explore feature has been added with time-of-day-based search results, suggestions based on where your friends have been or left tips, places on lists you follow, and places Foursquare thinks you’ll like.
Additionally, you can search for recommendations anywhere –Â Â you can now drag your map around, or enter a neighborhood, city or address to get recommendations for anywhere you want. Foursquare also Android Beam support on Venues, Lists, and Me pages.
