Boy Genius Report is receiving unconfirmed reports that the Sidekick line will be phased out upon the introduction of the upcoming MyTouch Slide “series”. If any of you actually remember the Sidekick (maybe I’m just getting old), it was an extremely popular and successful line of handsets, especially among teens and 20 somethings. No one can say at this point whether T-Mobile will just cease Sidekick sales altogether or replace the platform or, well, anything really. It will be interesting to find out more. 😉
