I am unfortunately not one of the lucky few who got the Google Glass, but if I did own a pair, I’m almost certain I would have found some of the touch and gesture based controls a little weird and awkward. Well, the MyGlass companion app for Google Glass has been updated with the option to scrap these controls and instead opt to control the UI through your Android device with swipes instead.
I don’t know if this ruins the experience a little since you’re back to relying on your Android device, but for those who are genuinely bugged by the Google Glass’ out-of-the-box controls, these updated controls might just be the ticket.
You can of course get the update now via the Play Store, of if you need to download the app, grab it at the Play Store link below, though, if you don’t have Google Glass, it probably won’t help with anything.
