CyanogenMOD CM7 is being talked about all over the globe and is now installed on thousands of devices throughout the Android community. Â As we now have the official release of Gingerbread for the Google Nexus One, I thought I’d do a quick speed comparison between the two and see how well CM7 runs.
I left both devices at their default settings, so no optimizations or CPU overclocking has been used. Â Each device is running at 1GHz.
I also decided to throw in a T-Mobile MyTouch 4G running the latest nightly of CyanogenMOD CM7 to shake things up a bit. Â As the MyTouch 4G is at least one generation newer, I would expect a bigger difference but the differences are not that great.
