Google Nexus One Gingerbread vs CyanogenMOD CM7 on Nexus One and MyTouch 4G

Performance Comparison of Nexus One Stock and CyanogenMOD CM7 and MyTouch 4G

CyanogenMOD CM7 is being talked about all over the globe and is now installed on thousands of devices throughout the Android community.  As we now have the official release of Gingerbread for the Google Nexus One, I thought I’d do a quick speed comparison between the two and see how well CM7 runs.

I left both devices at their default settings, so no optimizations or CPU overclocking has been used.  Each device is running at 1GHz.

I also decided to throw in a T-Mobile MyTouch 4G running the latest nightly of CyanogenMOD CM7 to shake things up a bit.  As the MyTouch 4G is at least one generation newer, I would expect a bigger difference but the differences are not that great.

Check out the video comparison below:

What device are you currently running CM7 on and how do you think it compares to the stock firmware that was installed on your phone?
