Google Play image shows Google Keyboard Screenshot with Potential KitKat Coloring

Android 4.4 KitKat Key Lime Pie
A new image upload that surfaced on the official Korean Google Keyboard listing on Google Play might just offer up the first teaser look at Android 4.4 KitKat. Not a huge amount of things to be seen, but we are all eager to see what the heck Google has in store with the next iteration of Android. If you look closely, you will see gray icons and clock font. Also, the left hand side shows a debugging icon which just so happens to be a piece of pie with antenna.

Android 4.4 KitKat
Yes, we are fully aware that Android 4.4 is going to be KitKat, but previous rumors and talks aimed it at Key Lime Pie. It is entirely possible that it was the plan until Google obtained the ability to go with KitKat, or part of their plan to keep us all in the dark for as long as possible. It doesn’t surprise me at all that a slipup happened or that a Key Lime Pie icon is still floating about in the various builds around the globe. I am just happy to see more hints towards what October might bring and look like.

It is also worth noting that there have been other rumors and general chatter that the status bar icons will be fully adjustable by the end user to their color preference. That is still just a rumor at the moment, but it certainly would make sense to bring a little more freedom to the end user when it comes to customization. I have a feeling that it will be a feature reserved for Nexus only devices and the manufacturers will do something else.

It is also interesting to note that the screenshot above has since been removed from the Play Store where it was originally located. If you guys really want to get the rumor mill turning, you could say the time in the corner tells the launch date as 10:07. October 7th. It could be true or just a coincidence. Still fun to think about!
