Identity Safe cloud beta launched by Norton, try it out Today

Norton is no stranger to the tech community. Some live and die by their software, others cringe at it. No matter what your security or antivirus software preferences you have, they are essential in our daily lives. In a further attempt to protect you and your information, Norton has just released a beta app called Identity Safe cloud. Essentially it is designed to allow you to sync your private web form data to a Norton cloud across multiple devices and browsers. It is mainly aimed at private login information for your bank, credit card balances and other sensitive login information that you may need to keep under wraps.

On a PC side, the service is only available to Windows users, sorry no Mac or Linux support just yet. They do however have an iOS and Android beta app available for you to test out. Accessing your password information requires you to login to the ‘safe’, similar to other password protection tools already available. Once inside you will see thumbnails associated to web pages allowing you to jump straight to it through your Safe.

Security of our private information is always a constant concern for many. If you still haven’t found a solution that works for you, or that you are comfortable with, then maybe Identity Safe is for you. You can pick up the Beta app free from Norton right now and give it a whirl for yourself. Be sure your device will allow third-party installation as this is not available on the market yet.
