Mozilla updates Firefox to 10.0, brings improved sync, bug fixes and WebGL Rendering

Firefox is one mobile browser that many longed to have. The betas floated around for a while before they finally launched an official app on the market. Offering a slick UI layout and the ability to easily sync your information between your device and your desktop browser makes it pretty great. In the latest update Mozilla has cleaned up the syncing making it easier to keep your bookmarks available. The have added Anti-Aliasing for WebGL, accelerated layers now supported via OpenGL ES and few other little tweaks and additions to make it perform better.

With updates though come’s the risk of other issues. A multitude of comments have been hitting the market stating that things now seem slower or unresponsive. Mozilla is constantly working to make this a great web browser for Android, but seem to keep missing the mark some how. With 50,044 ratings, the browser is only coming in at a 3.5 rating. Which is above average, but doesn’t seem to be a clear choice when choosing an alternative browsing solution.

What do you guys think? Is the latest update worth installing, or should users hold off and see what the next version brings? If you haven’t given it a shot yet and would like too, you can pick it up via the QR code below.
