[Update – Gameplay trailer Added] Jaw dropping racing game headed to Android. This can’t be real, but it Is

Gaming on Android has always been somewhat of a touchy subject. Not that there aren’t a handful of quality games floating around the market that offer great game play and some pretty darn good graphics for a phone. Still, being an avid gamer I always want more. I personally only have about 10 games on my device and only bust them out when I am really, and I mean REALLY board. I don’t run to my phone to sit down and start playing a game on purpose. As technology evolves so does the gaming experience. With faster GPUs, dual and quad-core processors, HD screens and abilities improve, so do games. Look at the gaming industry as a whole. There was 8bit, 16bit, 64bit and now insane bit. It will never end as well it shouldn’t.

That brings us to the next generation in portable gaming on our tablets and devices. A company by the name of Invictus is knee-deep in creating the most stunning Android (and iOS) game we have ever seen, ever. It is called Race of Champions, or ROC. As you can see in the various screen shots provided, it is about as real as you can get. Offering full kart racing simulation via circuit tracks and even some off roading action. They are even tossing in some cross-platform multi-player action. Giving us a chance to prove once and for all Android users are better at gaming.

Just take a look at a few of the various screenshot acquired from Invictus-games.com, you tell me it doesn’t look absolutely gorgeous.

Hopefully they bring the ROC girls to the game as well, that would be icing on the cake. No formal announcement on availability, price or hardware requirements as of yet. We can imagine nothing short of a dual-core device will be required to pump this game onto your screen. We will all be watching closely as this nears a release.

UPDATE – We just caught wind of the gameplay trailer of this bad boy in action, It looks even better that I had hoped. Check it out.
