Jelly Bean OTA officially rolling out for Verizon DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX Owners

Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX Jelly Bean Update
The long-awaited bump from Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean for two very popular Motorola devices on Verizon is finally rolling out. Owners of the Motorola DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX will be greeted with the 338MB sized update file starting today and moving forward. It will move your device to Android 4.1.2 and bring along all the goodies of Jelly Bean, like Google Now and Project Butter. Hopefully it gives you and your device a new lease on life for a while.

Updates like this won’t hit everyone today of course. Expect it to take a couple of days or even weeks before all device see it available. Be sure you have a good charge o your battery and Wi-Fi is usually always recommended. You can attempt to ping the server for the update by heading to your devices Settings > About Phone > System Updates. No promises that it will pop up right away though.

While it is downloading feel free to check out the entire change log from Motorola. It outlines everything that is coming in the update for you. Some things might be more exciting for you than to others.
