Jelly Bean update headed to ASUS Transformer Prime tablets in Sweden

Looks like those lucky owners of the Transformer Prime by ASUS in Sweden are getting a little Jelly Bean love today. ASUS Sweden took to their Facebook page to announce the update and made sure to point out the loss of Flash support once updated.  As we all know, Flash won’t appear in the Play Store to download, but ASUS offers up a link on where to pick it up if desperately need it to live your life. They also points out that the JB update will remove Wi-Fi direct as well.

They fail to make mention of other specific regions that will get the update though. We all assume that Sweden is the only location getting it right now since that is the Facebook page it came from. They do say “Finally it’s time for all Transformer Prime TF201 users..” We can’t imagine the rest of the world being to far off from getting the Jelly Bean update as well. They did mention back in July that they would be getting Jelly Bean out for the Prime in coming months.

Be on the look out for your update in Sweden and the rest of the global user base, check in occasionally and let us know if you see it hit your location.
