We started the week with good news for all the Droid 2 Global owners out there, as we learned that Verizon was in the process of testing the long-awaited Gingerbread update. While it was assumed that this testing would lead to an update rolling out within the next few days, it seems Motorola had different plans. The apparent hitch in communication between Verizon and Motorola leaves the status of this update on hold for now. So again we wait.
