New Glimpses of the HTC Pyramid

It wasn’t even a week ago that the HTC Pyramid emerged yet again with some renders showing off it’s new casing and already we have more pictures starting to surface. The new pictures don’t show much more than the renders did, however they do give a quick comparison vs the already well known Desire HD.

The most noticeable thing in the pictures are the cameras (and the two-toned casing of course). You’ll notice that the 8MP camera on the back is not exactly where it was in the renders, on the far left, and also doesn’t quite look as it did. The actual camera arrangement looks very similar to what’s offered on it’s older cousin, the Desire HD, to the right. Of course as far as HTC and cameras go the specs are pretty standard, 8MP and dual-LED flash. The Pyramid offers a front facing camera(seen below in the right hand corner) which seems to match up pretty closely with what we saw in the renders.

You may notice the displays of both the Desire HD and the Pyramid are exactly the same size, which means that the Pyramid will be boasting a 4.3″ as suggested by other spec leaks. However similar the displays seemed will all be set apart by the resolution being offered. Reportedly the Pyramid will be featuring the new qHD display at a 540 x 960 resolution allowing for much higher DPI value.

No other information has been released at this time, just a few random pictures to heighten anticipation and tease us. Hopefully HTC releases more information on this device at the upcoming CTIA 2011.
