Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Sprint passes through the FCC

It is about time right? We have seen rumors, quick little ads and pages that the Galaxy Nexus was headed to Sprint for a while now. Some people gave up and jumped ship to Verizon. While everyone else sat impatiently waiting for more news of the legendary device to be launched. Today we see the Samsung SPH-L700 breeze through the hallways of the FCC. Looks like the GNex is still on track for a launch in the first half of 2012 as promised. Looking at the FCC image doesn’t do much for many people, it more about the news than anything. For the more technical people, it will have LTE band 25, which is the 1900MHz band Sprint is using for its LTE services. It of course also sports NFC capabilities and will have Google Wallet access too. With the approval of the FCC out-of-the-way, we should be able to move forward and get this thing launched soon.

Anyone out there been holding out to snag the Sprint version?
