On December 10th T-Mobile will stock the Samsung Galaxy Tab S both online and in-stores. The Tab S is a 10.5-inch tablet (2560 x 1600 resolution) with a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage with a micro SD card slot. The tablet will launch with Android 4.4.2 KitKat according to the spec sheet, but I am sure there will be a set of updates moving it to 4.4.4 and the to 5.0 in due time. The large screen tablet carries an 8MP rear shooter camera as well as a 2.1MP front camera for your selfie taking addiction as well as video call needs. The whole thing is powered by a 7,900mAh battery that is being listed at 744 hours of standby time.
A notable difference between the current Galaxy Tab S and the T-Mobile variant is the use of a Qualcomm chip over the Exynos 5. I would believe that has to do with the inclusion of 4G LTE on T-Mobiles variant of the device. With your tablet purchase you will get 200MB of free 4G data for life, just like on all other tablet purchases. If you need more data than that you can toss on $10 a month to match your voice lines data up to 5GB on the tablet too. That also carriers over with all the free unlimited music streaming from the various supported providers like Google Play Music and others.
As for pricing, well the 10.5-inch tablet will set you back $649.92 out of pocket. That translates to $27.08 a month with $0 down.
Anyone eyeballing the Galaxy Tab S for an early Christmas gift to themselves, or a loved one too I suppose.
