While this information is cool, it isn’t really for the general public. Samsung recently released and update to the S Pen SDK, moving it to version 2.2. It brings in the improvements that we all see on the Note II like the hovering and other drawing related featured.
This is important for developers who are looking to create apps with special abilities designed for the Galaxy Note line of devices. Samsung has changed their included examples apps down to one single app now as well. It now offers up a list view of the new features and changes to help guide you in your development. Of course not all the new features will carry over to the entire Note line, some are Note II specific or newer. Not that it should be all that surprising. We do know that Jelly Bean and many of the special features found in the Note II will be making their way to the original Note and the Note 10.1. This is sure to help the Note enthusiast out there create some pretty great user experiences all by themselves.
If you are one of those rare individuals that loves to play and build, be sure to check out the entire new SDK set of features and download the latest version at SamMobile.
