Some Sprint HTC One users (including myself) have noticed that the capacitive back and home buttons have issues. Every once in a while, they won’t register a tap no matter how hard you try. This has been frustrating at times.
Sprint released a minor OTA update today to fix that. It increases the target area for the buttons as well as their sensitivities. Additionally, this update adds a “New Sprint Zone client” and fixes some BlinkFeed issues. It’s 24 MB and started rolling out to devices today. The software version changes to 1.29.651.10 from 1.29.651.7.
Note: If you’re HTCdev unlocked and have a different recovery or ROM other than stock, do not accept this update as it may have bad results. It’s not a full update, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully devs will be incorporating the new updates into their ROMs shortly, so be patient.
