T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II firmware gets Leaked

After the triumphant launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III, we all knew the Galaxy Note II would follow in its footsteps with a global carrier launch. We have seen a number of leaks floating around for a Note II on all four carriers. We have seen leaked system dumps land for AT&T and Sprint, that pretty much confirms the device for them. As for Verizon and T-Mobile, we have only seen leaks that offered up device info and a screenshot or two. That just changed with a new leak from SamMobile that offers up the firmware for the Samsung SGH-T889. This will be the Samsung Galaxy Note II.

According to sources for, T-Mobile and Samsung are hard at work testing out builds for the Note II. Apparently they have been pushing out OTA updates to device testers every 4 to 5 days. That is pretty impressive. To bad fixes and updates don’t happen like that after a device launches.

The most current build is version T889UVALIC which was last compiled on September 15th. This firmware doesn’t do much good for the general public, but for hackers, ROM builders and general coding craziness, this is a fun little thing to get your hands on. SamMobile has all the OTA updates that have been pushed out on their T-Mobile Note II firmware page for those interested in getting their fingers a little dirty.

Now, all we need to know is when the device will start hitting U.S. carriers. We are aiming for a release by the end of October.
