LG had a pretty great showing at CES 2015. Among the announcements was the refreshed G Flex, the LG G Flex 2. It really stole the show since there weren’t any phone announcements from major players that week. Not unless you count Polaroid and a few randoms. A model number of LG-US995 has now swung through the FCC indicating that the self-healing bendable device is on track for US Cellular. Not that it is a surprise since US Cellular did confirm it would carry the device shortly after it was announced to the world.
The FCC document doesn’t list out US Cellular specifically but it does toss down the compatible bands for CDMA which are 850 and 1900 along with the LTE bands in testing of 5 and 12. The LG-US995 also offers LTE bands 2, 4, 17 and 25. There is zip on the GSM side.
Any current US cellular subscribers out there holding off on their upgrade for the LG G Flex 2?
