Verizon to start pushing ICS updates to XOOM and Rezound starting Monday

Ice Cream Sandwich update news is always a hot topic, at least until the Jelly Bean hits the street. The Wi-Fi XOOM from Motorola has long since been updated to ICS, leaving the Verizon branded version by the way side. This no doubt has been a thorn in many XOOM LTE owners sides. Some potentially new information has surfaced leading many to believe that an update could be just around the corner for not only the Verizon XOOM, but also the HTC Rezound. Pegging the XOOM to be updated on April 23 and the Rezound getting updates starting May 9th. The source of the apparent information is a Verizon employee of some sorts that posted it up on reddit. As Droid-Life points out, some times posts like these have little to no support behind them. With the amount of additional information that was supplied though, it is very possible that it is correct. We will find out on Monday won’t we. Let’s hope it is true.
