Ahead of E3, Gameloft releases Modern Combat 5 teaser Trailer

Gameloft Modern Combat 5
In case you are unaware, E3 is coming up next week. It is a mecha of the gaming industry and usually shows off quite a lot of upcoming titles, hardware and other goodies that we all love. As the mobile gaming experience grows, so do the games and the number of mobile gaming companies that come to E3 to show off the next great title. Gameloft is no stranger to the event and we are no stranger to Gameloft. They have just released a teaser trailer for the next installment of Modern Combat. Simply named, as this point, Modern Combat 5. The trailer doesn’t offer up a second part to the name like in previous installments, ie Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour or Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nations. So unless they change that, it will just be Modern Combat 5.  Rather then bore you with some written words, take a quick watch of the teaser and see what you think.

Looks pretty impressive. The water, the lighting and shadows along with the attention to little details like the building chipping when fired at from the chopper are nice touches. The mobile gaming space won’t quite be the same as on a physical console, but it is sure getting close.

More info should be announced and demoed during E3. Hopefully our guys on the ground will get a chance to play about with a working demo version and find out some details. We do know that Gameloft plans to release MC5 to iOS and Android sometime in Q4 of 2013. Hopefully Gameloft sticks with their purchase choices rather than a freemium on this one. What do you think of the teaser of the upcoming Modern Combat 5?
