I fall asleep and the world falls apart. Ok, not really but Walmart issued a response to the Nexus One ad that was posted on their website. They are blaming a “technical error” on the “accidental” post and claim they will not be selling the Nexus One in Walmart stores or online… “at this time”. Are the specs that were posted an accident as well? Maybe we aren’t going to see the support for 1xEvDO & UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900 on a single device. Walmart did not address the specs so, who knows…
Here is the response courtesy of Android and Me:
“Sorry to disappoint but we have no plans to carry Nexus One in Walmart stores or online at Walmart.com at this time. Due to a technical error, this item erroneously was displayed on our site. We’re working with our partner Let’s Talk to have it removed as quickly as possible, and apologize for any confusion.â€
